COVID 19 Info
Our contest was one of the very few contests in Europe that was held in 2020.
Our staff did a special training as COVID19 by the RED CROSS and we were the FIRST fair event with a COVID19 certification in 2020 in Vienna!
We have a specially trained medical team on site.
We had ZERO potential COVID19 cases in 2020 and all all COVID 19 audits by the Austrian authorities resulted in zero complaints.
As the situation is constantly changing we willsend you the latest info approximately 2 weeks in advance of the event.
Probably you will need to wear FFP2 masks in the event building. These masks are available for 0.59-0.99 Euro per piece on site.
We do not know the regulations imposed by KCBS but these will be sent to you by the KCBS rep 2-3 weeks before the event.
General info
Each team is assigned a space of 6x6m meters.
If you need more space please send us an email and we will discuss the details with you.
One vehicle can be placed at this place.
VIP parking for vehicles of participants, judges and vendors is very close.
Electricity supply is located in the vicinity (<20 meters). each time will get 1.2 kW of electricity.
There are several water outlets at the competition area with hot and cold water.
Probably we will also have the Dishwasher caravan.
There is currently a maximum of 50 teams.
The setup is possible from Thursday afternoon to Saturday 11:00.
If you arrive before friday noon please send us a short email so that we can mark your space earlier.
Elecricity supplies will be available from thursday evening.
The surplus of the BBQ meats can be given away for free to visitors IF KCBS ALLOWS!
(In 2020 KCBS did not allow it at the time of our contest but did change it some weeks later.)
You will get the info at the cooks meeting or by email some weeks ahead of the contest.
The selling of goods other than merchandising articles of the teams needs a written permission by the organizer.
Spaces for vendors of BBQ articles can be rented also from the organizer, but are located apart from the participants to avoid any disturbances of the competition.
A shop for butcher supplies is only 100m away from the venue, a builders shop and two supermarkets are in the vicinity.
The next subay/metro station is 800m away.

PARTICIPATION FEE
Participation fee for the KCBS main categories: 220,- /250,-/280 Euro € including VAT**
We willhave a double contest with reduced fees for the second day (Friday-Saturday)

Dessert fee: 20 Euro including VAT**
**) Companies with an EU VAT ID from outside Austria will get an invoice without VAT
Registration is final, payment has to be done at the time of registration in the eventbrite Ticket-App.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to negative experiences the registration has been changed.
All registrations are final. The payment has to be made at the time of registration.
No refunds can be made, but it is possible to nominate a replacement team that can use your place.
The organiter will decide of the replacement team is accepted!
